Cashmere wool originates from the Tibetan Cashmere goat inner hair and known to be extremely soft. Cashmere wool is an exclusive material because the Cashmere goat only supplies 200-300 grams a year while a merino sheep supply 3.000-6.000 grams. For a standard sweater, 200-300 grams of wool is used, which means that a cashmere goat only supplies enough yarn for one sweater a year. The cashmere fibres are very fine and spun tightly to give a soft texture. Cashmere drapes beautifully and due to its lightweight nature and resistance to wrinkles, it always looks elegant and luxurious.
Recycled viscose is a regenerated wood fibre that is naturally degradable and related to cupro, modal and lyocell. Viscose is often used as an alternative to silk, as the fibre fineness of viscose can achieve the same lightness as silk. Viscose has good durability and retains colour better than cotton. In addition, viscose has good absorbency, which makes the garment comfortable to wear on hot days.
