ORGANIC COTTON

Organic cotton yarn is farmed in a specific way. When appropriately farmed, organic cotton yarn is made via methods that are less harmful and have much less impact on the environment than in traditional cotton farming. Organic cotton is grown without harmful chemicals, leaving the soil, air and water free from contaminates that cause harm. Organic cotton produces around 46% less CO2e compared to conventional cotton. It also uses far less water to grow since organic cotton growers typically utilize rain more than irrigation

Tencel™ Lyocell

TENCEL™ Lyocell is a biodegradable fabric that is produced in a closed loop system with minimal environmental impact. In the production process of TENCEL™ Lyocell, 95% less water is used than for the production of cotton and more than 99% of the solvents are recovered and reused. The fibre is extracted from certified forests, which means that the fibre is sourced through sustainable forestry, where forests are not felled at a rate where they cannot recover. The quality has a silky sheen, good durability and is comfortable to wear.
