Cotton is a natural fibre that is biodegradable. The cotton fibre is robust and has a wear resistance that is only surpassed by certain synthetic fibres. These natural properties provide cotton products with very good durability.
Linen is a natural, biodegradable fibre. The flax plant, from which linen is made, is sustainable and has a low environmental impact, as it requires minimal water and fertiliser. Flax is a hardy plant that also resists insects, wind, and harsh weather. Linen is obtained from the stalks of the plant. A durable material, linen is admired for its cleanness, its sheen, and its beautiful texture, which is slightly uneven. In the summer, linen feels cool, fresh, and light; in the winter, it feels warm against the skin. Linen's many benefits make it ideal for clothing year round.
Polyester is a synthetic fibre that has very good durability. In the production of polyester, far less water and no pesticides are used when compared to cotton. Polyester has excellent colour retention, dries quickly and curls minimally.
